Job Description:
A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Defense
Attorney.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct extensive
legal research
Create and present defense strategies on behalf of clients,
including preparing complex pleadings and trial briefs
Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
while facilitating the disposition of assigned cases
Required Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school and a license to practice in
California
Minimum of 2 years of legal practice experience handling Workers'
Compensation cases
Trial experience preferred but not required
Strong legal research and writing skills
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Lexis Nexis is a
plus
