SONS Chevrolet is looking for an Experienced Sales Consultant for our sales and internet department. We treat each customer's needs with concern and have a loyal customer base. All applications will be kept in strict confidentResponsibilities:Sale Consultants/Associates take the customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies and proceduresDevelop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle featuresDemonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom and via test driveProvide new vehicle to customer through established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperworkMaintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty and long term clienteleDevelop a prospecting system, making calls and sending emails to potential customers to set appointments Close DealsReport directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent requiredTwo-to-four-year college degree preferred2-5 years automotive sales and customer service experience preferred, but not requiredAutomotive sales background preferredKnowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operationsPhenomenal communication skills, organizational and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environmentStrong verbal and communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeValid driver's license required and clean driving recordProfessional appearance and work ethic
