This is an outside sales position calling on physicians and hospitals. Territory covered will be Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas. We believe in providing a safe work environment, and we conduct background checks in our recruiting/hiring processes.*Respiratory Sales Specialist*The Respiratory Sales Specialists is responsible for growing the high acuity respiratory patient base and associated device sales. Working independently and in conjunction with other Sales Representatives in building relationships with referral sources to generate steady referrals that meet sales growth goals and expectations. They will ensure continuity between the physician practice or post-acute setting and the home setting in order to maximize patient satisfaction of home medical equipment services. Their goal is to improve awareness and confidence among healthcare professionals, physicians, and patients regarding current home medical equipment options and capabilities.*The ideal candidate is:* Self-motivated and able to work independently Proficient in building and maintaining relationships with new and established referral sources and exchanging information regarding patient care, products, and services Able to manage time efficiently and work in fast-paced environments A strong presenter with diverse written and verbal communication skills Well versed in medical terminology and able to communicate clinical knowledge to medical professionals and staff Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; able to navigate additional technology intuitivelyDetail-oriented and able to respond appropriately to disruptions in routine*Minimum Job Qualifications:** Oxygen, PAP and NIV equipment knowledge is required* Licensed Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse with NIV experience and knowledge is preferred* Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required* Experience in field marketing and calling on medical facilities, physicians, and staff is a plus* Occasional overnight travel for sales training and sales meetingsAdaptHealth is an equal opportunity employer and does not unlawfully discriminate against employees or applicants for employment on the basis of an individuals race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable law.
