Administration program emphasizes preparation for decision making
in a business environment. Perimeter College faculty members have
practical experience in a variety of industries. By drawing upon
this experience in the classroom, they provide students with
real-world examples to complement business theories. Position
Description Limited Term Instructors are full-time faculty hired on
a semester to semester basis.
The position is renewable for a maximum of 3 semesters and is
dependent on enrollment. The selected candidate will be responsible
for:
* Providing 18 semester hours of instruction per semester.
* Providing student support and advising
* Maintaining an average of 10 office hours per week
* Working effectively and professionally with colleagues
* Teaching a mix of in-person and online classes Required
Experience A minimum of a Master's degree required in the teaching
discipline or a minimum of a Master's degree with at least 18
semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant coursework
(completed by the anticipated date of appointment). Required
Education None specified. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Prior
teaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level, desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Ability to teach Economics at
the collegiate level.
* Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate
to students and facilitate student learning.
* Effective communication skills needed.
* Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology and ability to
teach online is required. Licenses, Certifications, or

require non-standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid,
weekend and/or other campus locations). Salary 10 month salary
