TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Marietta, Georgia, 30060 Pay Information $1,810 per week About The Position Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Less than 1 year License: RN Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS Must-Have: Associate's Degree in Nursing Description: The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers. They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders. The framework for practice is steered by a Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice and research. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by core values. All RN Clinical Nurses are expected to be licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing. They implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards. The individual upholds the voice of the patient and supports service excellence goals. Exemplary Practice and Outcomes The nurse performs the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They provide individualized care using evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking. Care is coordinated through effective partnerships, recognizing that caring is central to achieving optimal patient care outcomes. The nurse provides relationship-based patient-centered care. They adapt service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity. The nurse partners with the patient and significant others using appropriate methods for setting and purpose. Practices using current clinical practice standards. Teamwork and Collaboration The nurse coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care. This includes diverse and inclusive interdisciplinary communication methods. The nurse demonstrates teamwork and collaboration in a fiscally responsible manner. They participate and support performance improvement, research, and research utilization. The nurse actively supports shared governance at all levels in the system. Professional Development and Initiative The nurse completes all professional competency assessments and mandatory education. Serves as a preceptor or mentor for other professional nurses, staff, or students. They model the professional practice of nursing and create a healthy work environment. Evidence Based Practice and Research The nurse promotes evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement. They participate in value analysis in evaluating patient care products. The nurse upholds all healthcare system policies and procedures, and clinical competencies. Participates in data collection and poses relevant clinical questions to advance evidence-based practice. Resources and Support The nurse proactively plans for patient care across the care continuum. They participate in developing protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes. The nurse supports efficient and effective use of human and material resources. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all health system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct. Required Minimum Education Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
