Degree in Nursing Description: The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive
member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed
caregivers. They ensure that patients, families, and significant
others receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care. They
practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse
Managers and other leaders. The framework for practice is steered
by a Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice and
research. RN competencies are derived from these models and
supported by core values. All RN Clinical Nurses are expected to be
licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing. They
implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards. The
individual upholds the voice of the patient and supports service
excellence goals. Exemplary Practice and Outcomes The nurse
performs the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis,
planning, implementation, and evaluation. They provide
individualized care using evidence-based practice and
analytical/critical thinking. Care is coordinated through effective
partnerships, recognizing that caring is central to achieving
optimal patient care outcomes. The nurse provides
relationship-based patient-centered care. They adapt service
delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity. The
nurse partners with the patient and significant others using
appropriate methods for setting and purpose. Practices using

nurse coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe quality

Complies with all health system policies, standards of work, and
code of conduct. Required Minimum Education Associate's Degree in
nursing or graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing
required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Required Minimum
