Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Supervising shift activities for Respiratory Care. Performs duties
to include resourcing, monitoring, scheduling, educating,
developing and disciplining personnel while optimizing
appropriateness of respiratory care procedures. Provides quality
clinical care throughout the hospital.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of five years of progressive work experience in respiratory
care.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Has and maintains Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); has and
maintains a current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in
the state of Georgia. Current BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications
required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Preferred.
Prior Supervisory experience Preferred.
