Job Description:
A company is looking for a Personal Lines Underwriter to develop
and maintain relationships with sales representatives, agents, and
brokers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage submissions to reach decline or quoting status within
service level agreements
Interact with carriers and producers to gather information and
determine pricing, coverages, and exclusions
Review and respond to underwriting audits and document decisions
according to standards
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of personal lines insurance underwriting experience
required
1-2 years of wholesale distribution experience strongly
preferred
Ability to apply loss development and advanced loss analysis
concepts for optimal pricing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook,
and Excel required
