Job Description:
A company is looking for a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist
to support the social and emotional needs of students in nonpublic
schools in New York.
Key Responsibilities
Create tools, resource materials, and professional development
materials for the curriculum for children with Autism
Collaborate with school staff and serve as a liaison to ensure
positive outcomes for learners
Design and implement school-based programs aligned with the CASEL
Framework for social and emotional learning
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Experience in K-12 education, school counseling, social work, or a
related field preferred
Experience with curriculum and content development within the
social emotional learning space
Experience working with children with special needs, specifically
Autism
Knowledge of behavioral methodology and techniques for students
with emotional/behavioral challenges
Experience in training and coaching staff preferred
