A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Coder-Contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Code medical records to validate ICD-10-CM codes for Risk
Adjustment
Research regulatory guidelines for supporting documentation
Prepare reports of work activity and maintain confidentiality of
protected health information
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Risk Adjustment coding experience for Medicare
Advantage and Medicaid
CPC certification required; CRC preferred
Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding, particularly with Risk
Adjustment
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in EMR systems and
Risk Adjustment software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
