The new Crisis Stabilization Diagnostic Center in the middle of
Macon will be another historic milestone for Macon and the State of
Georgia.River Edge Behavioral Health is looking for energetic,

who will help us bring this vision of the CSDC to Macon, GA if you

analysis.Once completed, the Crisis Stabilization Diagnostic Center
(CSDC) will be a 16-bed crisis stabilization unit for individuals
dually diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
(IDD) and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Through a
partnership with Mercer University School of Medicine, there will
be additional space for outpatient clinic services such as primary
medicine, dental, vision, podiatry, and other specialty services.

and treatment of the IDD population in the State of Georgia and

InsurancePosition:The BCBA will report to the BCBA Supervisor and
provide behavioral oversight for services offered within the CSDC
and adhere to ongoing review and measurement of programs, services,
and applications. All behavior interventions will comply with
regulations, policies, procedures, and standards set by the Georgia
Department of Behavior Health & Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).
The BCBA will incorporate trauma-informed care in all behavioral
interventions/plans for individuals served.The Crisis Stabilization
Diagnostic Center (CSDC) will provide comprehensive assessments,
behavioral design, and intervention programs for individuals served
in the center. The BCBA serves as an interdisciplinary team (IDT)
member and support other discipline leaders. The BCBA will discuss
cases, present and analyze data, and elaborate on treatment
approaches and progress.Position Summary:The BCBA will oversee ABA
interventions for their case of no more than 8-10 individuals on
the unit. The BCBA will provide training and model how to implement
the Behavior Support Plan for staff. The BCBA will attend weekly
IDT meetings and ensure parents/guardians are notified of the
client's progress, which may include weekly treatment calls.The
BCBA will adhere to ongoing review and measurement of programs and
service applications to comply with regulations, policies,
procedures, and standards set by the Agency and the DBHDD. The BCBA
will assess, develop, and implement behavior interventions for
individuals with Intellectual Disability Disorder (IDD) and
behavioral challenges.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the
delivery of ABA therapy services to adults dually diagnosed with
IDD and mental health diagnoses.Perform assessments, develop
treatment plans, lead, and supervise a team of therapists, train
staff, and work with parents and families.Conduct comprehensive
behavioral skills assessments and develop individualized skill
acquisition plans based on assessment results.Conduct Functional
Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior and Crisis Intervention
Plans.Oversee treatment plan implementation and provide clinical
supervision to staff.Modify treatment plans and programs as needed
based on data-driven decisions.Provide initial and ongoing training
to therapists ensure internal policies are followed.Provide
behavior-oriented recommendations for individuals discharged from
the center.BCBA will be on-call on a rotating basicTechnical
Competencies:Ethical Practices: Able to Behavior Analyst
Certification Board (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code
for Behavior Analysts.Collaboration: Able to understand and
interpret organization, state, and federal regulations set forth to
include professional development, safety training, and
confidentiality policies as required by DBHDD and collaborate with
other behavioral professionals.Designing Intervention Plans: Able
to design programs to meet the physical, social, and emotional
needs of clients served while maximizing team collaboration,
cooperation, and service integration across disciplines and the
organization.Training: Ability to certify in the Mindset,
de-escalation methodology, and provide training to other
professionals. In addition to providing needed training to
caregivers and other individuals involved in the individual's care
to ensure consistency.Emotional Intelligence: Must be able to
remain calm emotionally and physically and refrain from responding
inappropriately to irritate or upset clients who may attempt to
evoke a response from the staff (such as calling names, spitting,
or verbal threats)Data Collection: Experience with severe and
challenging behaviors. Collect data on behaviors and analyze it to
measure progress, make informed decisions, and adjust intervention
strategies.Qualifications:Current and active certification with the
Board of Applied Behavior Analysis as a Board-Certified Behavior
Analyst.Eligible for licensure as a Board-Certified Behavior
Analyst in the State of GeorgiaHas achieved a master's degreeMust
be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.Occasional
lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 20 pounds.Prolonged
walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting.Must be
able to sit and climb stairs.Must be able to function in a wide
variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and
other various conditions.Must be able to adhere to HIPAA privacy
